The nave of the Court Church at Innsbruck with the cenotaph of Emperor Maximilian I
Although Maximilian began to plan his mausoleum during his own lifetime, it was not completed until 1584, and then only in reduced form. The Court Church at Innsbruck was built especially to contain it; however the emperor is not buried here but in Wiener Neustadt.
