The Neidhart tomb on the south side of St Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna
The tomb was probably endowed during the reign of Duke Rudolf IV. Together with Walther von der Vogelweide, Neidhart von Reuenthal was active at the court in Vienna as a poet in the first half of the thirteenth century. His poetry was widely disseminated and had many imitators.
