Foot-combat tournament at Court, copperplate engraving, 1652

At the centre of the picture are Ferdinand III and his wife Eleonora Gonzaga the Younger together with heir to the throne Ferdinand (later Emperor Ferdinand VI) as a child. The stands for the members of the Court are decorated with double-headed eagles. In the foreground cavaliers in classical costumes take up their positions for combat.
