Figures for the tomb of Maximilian I: Empress Eleonora, 1522/23, coloured pen-and-ink drawing

From the studio of Jörg Kölderer, who was supervising the work on the cenotaph at that time. One of a series of studies, the figures – some copies of original designs by Gilg Sesselschreiber – represent the bronze statues, only 28 of which were eventually completed.
